BCG is proud to be sponsoring DANSIC – Danish Social Innovation Club
DANSIC – Danish Social Innovation Club, is a cross-party, student driven, nonprofit organisation whose purpose is to inspire social innovation; to find new visionary solutions for society’s social and environmental challenges. Abroad, social innovation is particularly visible through ideas from social entrepreneurs, socioeconomic companies, and partnerships across the traditional societal sectors.
The main activity is the conference, DANSIC12, which is scheduled for 8 March 2012 in Copenhagen.
DANSIC12 is a conference for 300 motivated and ambitious students studying in Denmark. The conference is arranged by around 60 volunteers and includes two keynotes and more than 50 speakers. DANSIC12 will host panel discussions to inspire and motivate the students to engage in social innovation. Additionally, the conference is built around workshops, where students are invited to cooperate and network around relevant social innovation challenges.
The team behind DANSIC is an ambitious and diverse group of students from universities such as DTU, CBS, KU, RUC and DDS. They work together with the shared mindset: making a difference IS possible.
At DANSIC12 prominent leaders and social entrepreneurs have been invited for a full day of panel discussions, workshops and the live finale of DANSIC's idea-pitch competition pitch@DANSIC. Prizes include consulting from the Society Network (the Danish Harvard University alumni association) whose members all have received Crown Prince Frederik's scholarship.
